Amazing Paint Screen Shot

No matter what you do, every Mac needs a black and white paint program...

Amazing Paint is a complete painting program for all Macintosh(tm) computers. With it you can create paint documents, modify scanned images, and copy or cut clip art. The power of Amazing Paint lies in tools not found in most paint programs.

Easy "Undos" and unique tools...

Amazing Paint's multiple undos let you "go back" many steps. It is the first paint program for the Macintosh to include such a feature. In addition to lasso and marquee tools, there is a magic wand and a shape selector which allow you to select exactly the area you want. The pencil tool has 64 different point sizes. There are 28 special paintbrushes that can be used to apply custom patterns to large areas. Brushes can be customized. Custom paint patterns can also be created. Patterns can be rotated or inverted. Patterns can take on different "ink" properties - normal, inverted, overlay and erase. Rectangles, round rectangles, ovals, circles, and free-form shapes can be filled with various patterns. A selected area can be rotated, distorted, and slanted or given a vanishing point perspective. Inverted images, traced edges, lightening and darkening are also available. You can zoom in or out in varying degrees of magnification. The magnifying glass lets you "point and zoom" on any area of the document. The mouse magnifier enlarges a small area, while the rest of the document remains the same size.

Paying attention to text...

Text can be edited and moved before it becomes part of the picture and can be displayed with any pattern or background with font sizes from 6 to 999 points. Amazing Paint is also compatible with Adobe Type Manager(tm) and Apple TrueType(r).

Printing or saving...

Any part of a document can be saved or printed. Selections can be saved directly to the Scrapbook, as well as to MacPaint(tm) or PICT documents. Selections can be printed by any Macintosh compatible printer. The whole document or a selected area can be blown up to almost unlimited size.
