Note: Concerning the Islamic holidays, a special conference on Hilal Sighting organized by the Fiqh Council of North America on June 10, 2006 in Virginia announced on Aug. 6, 2006, the decision to use astronomical calculations and not be dependent on the actual sighting of the moon which could cause a holiday to be delayed a day because of clouds or location. However, at this time, we cannot be sure that the Islamic holidays reported herein are all reported on a consistent method.
