B. Exporting to the Palm Memo Pad
As an alternative to exporting to the Palm Address book, you can put your InTouch With entries in the Palm Memo Pad. This has several advantages, your addresses and notes are maintained completely. No parsing is necessary, so all records will appear as desired. However, the entries will show up as memos, they will not appear in the Palm's address book.
To import into the Palm Memo Pad, follow these steps.
Open the file in InTouch With.
Go to the File Menu, drag down to Export, and select Export Palm Memos. You are asked for a file, type something like "palm memos", and from the "Where" select Desktop. Save.

Open the Palm Desktop program. From the File Menu, choose "Import", select Desktop from the "From" pop-up menu, and select the palm memos file.

The window below will appear. In The Fields pop-up menu, choose "Memos". Then, drag the fields in the window so that every field on the right side of the window matches up with an appropriate field on the left side.

When you are done, they should match up as follows:

When you have the columns matched up, click Import. All entries from your exported file will be imported into your Palm Desktop as Memos. Sync from your Palm Desktop to your Palm, and you are done!
